It is just starting to rain. What a blessing. The chickens are clucking with happiness: softer earth for scratching!
I'd be a liar if I didn't admit that the lack of rain out here is at times discouraging. Sometimes you just wish things would happily sow themselves and thrive without quite as much assistance (hence my shout-out to the cedars in yesterday's post!). Our pond is dry right now. I just hope it is full again come spring, so that we can enjoy the croaking of those bullfrogs!
